The South Australian Space Industry (SASIC) will provide eight fully funded scholarships for the upcoming Executive Space Course (ESC24), hosted by the University of South Australia and International Space University.

Held at the University of South Australia’s City West Campus in Adelaide from 22 – 26 July, the five-day educational offering is ideal for South Australian professionals and executives looking to expand their knowledge on the space sector.

Recognising the many opportunities on offer in South Australia’s growing space industry, the informative course will provide greater insights into emerging trends and developments, best practices and the new space economy as a whole.

The program features local and international academics and guest speakers and incorporates a day’s attendance at the Australian Space Forum – one of the foremost events on the national space industry calendar.

SASIC Director Dr Catherine Grace said that the course is the ideal platform to spark ideas, unlock potential and inspire collaboration.

“We are excited to offer this world-class opportunity to South Australian professionals and look forward to an inclusive and impactful course,” she said.

“Making the program accessible to eight candidates through the scholarship presents an exciting pathway for local talent with a curiosity for space to be inspired, grow their network and find their place in South Australia’s ever-evolving space industry.”

Eligible applicants must be South Australian residents and available to attend the program in person from 22 – 26 July 2024.

Applications close on Friday 28 June at 9.00 am.
