SYPAQ represents a range of UTC Aerospace Systems products in Australia, including the ORS-1 satellite. The UTC Aerospace Systems ORS-1 satellite hosts a sensor payload from their SYERS-2 multispectral sensor originally developed for the U-2 reconnaissance plane and deployed for over 35 years in multiple configurations on a variety of airborne platforms. The ORS-1 sensor payload is specifically adapted for operation in Low Earth Orbit. It provides proven operational data products from a broad coverage area for our military forces.
