Before joining Hughes in 2006, Mark was an adviser to former Australian Minister for Defence, Senator Robert Hill, with responsibility for policy advice on defence property and infrastructure and as assisting media adviser across all departmental and operational issues. He was also a Media Adviser in the Office of the Premier of South Australia with particular emphasis on transport, urban planning, treasury, and industry and trade.
