Event organisers the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) have declared the 68th International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide a success with more than 4,500 space enthusiasts attending from 84 countries.
Highlights included a presentation by Bill Nye, the Science Guy and Elon Musk who concluded the congress with an update on his plans to make humans a multi-planetary species.
The IAF General Assembly also selected the 71st International Astronautical Congress will be held in Dubai in 2020, hosted by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre.
